How to reach the Garfagnana and Gallicano

From Aulla For those arriving from the Parma - La Spezia motorway - take the Aulla exit and follow the SS63 road. Continue on the SS445 following the road signs for "Castelnuovo di Garfagnana." and continue on to Gallicano From Versilia Follow the provincial road SP13 that goes from Serraveza up into the Apuan mountains. Go through the "Cipollaio Tunnel" and then follow the road signs for "Gallicano" From Lucca Take the SS12 road which follows the course of the "River Serchio" and you will arrive in the Garfagnana. Follow the road signs for Gallicano/Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. From Modena After arriving at Pavullo, continue the SS12 . Continue onthe SS324 up the Appenine Mountains to "Il Passo Delle Radici" and you will arrive in the Garfagnana. Follow the road signs for Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Gallicano. |
